Zdeněk Hřib is the chairman of the Czech Pirate Party.

Zdeněk Hřib is the chairman of the Czech Pirate Party.[1] Hřib is an MP and was formerly mayor of Prague.[3]
Appearance in the Chamber of Deputies
During the debate in the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic on the opposition motion of no confidence in the government of Andrej Babiš at the end of September 2026, he spoke among the opposition speakers. The opposition got the floor in the debate only around noon on 30 September 2026, when the head of the TOP 09 parliamentary group Jan Jakob, TOP 09 chairman Matěj Ondřej Havel, STAN chairman Vít Rakušan and Hřib spoke in turn.[2] He urged voters to turn out for the approaching Senate and municipal elections, saying: "Do not let this horror continue." iDNES notes in this connection that these elections have no effect on the number of MPs on whom the government relies.[1]
In September 2026 Hřib, together with the Czech Pirate Party's candidate for mayor, published a video claiming that the earlier completion of repairs to the Barrandov Bridge saved Prague residents more than two billion koruna; the PoliCheck programme of Novinky described this calculation as misleading.[4]
