According to Czech News Agency reporting from October 2026, the Czech Pirate Party is among the opposition parties. Its chairman is Zdeněk Hřib, who is running for the Capital City of Prague council in the 2026 municipal elections.[1]
Czech Television announced on 6 October 2026 that Hřib would not appear in the final pre-election Superdebate, because he is a candidate and Czech Television's rules do not allow candidates to take part. Hřib was among the party chairmen who had asked the broadcaster to allow them to participate.[1]
