Boris Šťastný (Motoristé) is the Minister for Sport, Prevention and Health. On 7 October 2026 he took part in a commemorative gathering marking the third anniversary of the Hamas attacks on Israel at Jan Palach Square in Prague. According to reports, he said at the commemoration that Israel had suffered a deep wound, its people were getting back on their feet and Czechia stood by Israel's side.[1][2]
