Minister for Sport, Prevention and Health Boris Šťastný (Motoristé) said on 17 October 2026 on the Nova television programme Za pět minut dvanáct that the governing coalition is currently not preparing any changes in the cabinet. In his view, any reshuffle could be initiated by Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO 2011), and the minister assumes he would first discuss it with the coalition partners. Šťastný said that the coalition council has not yet dealt with the question and that Motoristé are not coming forward with any proposals.[1]

According to ČTK, the media had speculated in the preceding days about the future of Minister of Education Robert Plaga (ANO 2011) and Minister of the Environment Igor Červený (Motoristé). Babiš said during the week that Plaga has his confidence and that he has nothing against Červený.[1]

In the programme Šťastný also criticised his party colleague, the deputy Filip Turek, for a video on social media in which he stubbed out a cigar in a dessert. He called it a degree of influencer behaviour that, in his view, has nothing to do with the politics of a parliamentary party and may put off some voters.[1]
