Motoristé sobě is a Czech political party. According to Czech Television, it entered the lower house for the first time after the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, on which ČT24 reported on 4 October 2025.[1]
Leadership and politics
The party's leader is, according to Czech Television, Petr Macinka.[1][2] MEP Filip Turek is honorary president of the Motoristé and the Prague election leader was Boris Šťastný.[1]
After the elections Macinka said that the party is entering the lower house confidently and proudly, because it had never been in a coalition and had made no personnel or programme concessions. He described the Motoristé as a conservative right-wing political party.[1]
After the 2025 elections
On the evening after the elections, representatives of the party met in Průhonice with Andrej Babiš, chairman of the ANO movement, which won the elections. ANO deputy chairman Karel Havlíček said that the movement was considering cooperation with the Motoristé in forming a government. Turek called ANO a natural coalition partner.[1]
Šťastný called on the then government not to take significant steps and not to enter into new commitments.[1] According to ČT, Macinka was proposed for the post of minister of the environment. Demonstrations were held against his nomination because, according to the article, he questions human influence on climate change. Czech Television reporters also looked into the party's sponsors, who, according to them, show interests in the field of the environment.[2]
