In the municipal elections in Černouček in the Litoměřice area, announced on 10 October 2026, the association of independent candidates Černouček 2026 won four of seven seats and the second list, Černouček sobě, three.[1][2] Among those elected is Martin Král, who identifies with Motoristé sobě and, according to published reports, is the first councillor elected for the movement in municipal elections.[1][2][3]

Turnout was 79.71 percent: of 276 voters, 220 cast a ballot. In the previous election there was only one list in the municipality and turnout was 41.57 percent.[1] The Černouček 2026 association received roughly 52 percent of the votes, Černouček sobě 48.13 percent.[1][2] The previous mayor did not stand in this year's election.[1]

The election attracted attention because President Petr Pavel has his permanent residence in the municipality.[3] He had originally announced that he would not take part because of a private trip abroad. After criticism he returned from Morocco and voted in the local polling station on 9 October 2026 shortly before 3 p.m.[1][2][3] In a statement he acknowledged a mistake in planning and said it could be put right by changing the plan.[3] Foreign Minister Petr Macinka visited the municipality before the election and stopped at an inn.[1][3]

The chair of the Motoristé sobě parliamentary group, Boris Šťastný, wrote on X: “The historically first councillor elected for Motoristé sobě in municipal elections is Martin Král in the municipality of Černouček!”[1][2] Macinka called it an interesting twist of fate that the movement's first councillor comes from this very municipality.[2]
