With roughly half of the polling districts counted, KDU-ČSL led the municipal elections with 1,125 seats on a turnout of 48.5 percent.

According to data from the election server, with roughly half of the polling districts counted on 10 October 2026, KDU-ČSL led the municipal elections among the parties running on their own, measured by the number of seats. It was followed by Starostové a nezávislí, ODS and ANO.[1] Almost 37,000 councillors were elected and turnout was 48.5 percent.[1]

KDU-ČSL won 1,125 seats from 11,012 candidates, Starostové a nezávislí 612, ODS 192, ANO 107, Sociální demokracie 57, TOP 09 43, the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia 36, Naše Česko 19, SPD 13, the Czech Pirate Party five and Motoristé sobě two seats. Independent candidates in various associations won 34,267 seats.[1]

More than eight million voters were eligible to vote in the municipal elections. Four years earlier, 8.125 million were eligible and 3.8 million voted, roughly 46 percent.[1]
