Martin Král is a municipal councillor of Černouček in the Litoměřice area. In the 2026 municipal elections he became the first councillor that the Motoristé sobě party had won.[1][3]
According to iDNES.cz he was second on the list of the Association of Independent Candidates ČERNOUČEK 2026, which won 51.86 percent of the vote and four of the seven seats.[2] The other competing group, Černouček sobě, won 48.13 percent and three seats. The winner was decided by 56 recalculated votes. The incumbent mayor did not run in the municipality. [2]
According to iDNES.cz he is fifty-two years old. [2] He is an IT manager and a volunteer firefighter. He joined Motoristé at the outset and, in his own words, joined the party because of its original programme, which counted on savings of state money. [4]
Voter turnout in the municipality was 79.71 percent, with 220 of 276 voters coming to the polls, whereas in the previous election, when only a single candidate list ran, it was 41.57 percent. [2] The day before the election, Motoristé chairman Petr Macinka visited the municipality and published a joint photo with Král. [4]
Král was running for a seat on the council for the first time and has lived in the municipality for over twenty years. In his own words, he was led to run by the prices of some repairs, which he considers overpriced, and by the lack of transparency of the municipal leadership; the incumbent mayor rejected the claim of non-transparency. Král said that the Motoristé leadership had not encouraged him to run in the president's municipality. On the list he was second; preferential votes moved him to fourth place, the last of those that led to the council. [4]
