The chairman of Motoristé sobě and foreign minister Petr Macinka described the movement's interim results in the Prague municipal elections as weak on the evening of 10 October 2026. With two fifths of the votes counted, the movement had just under three percent in Prague. Macinka said: “I am not happy about it, it does not please me.”[1]

Macinka does see success in Ostrava, where, with five sixths of the votes counted, Motoristé sobě had more than eight percent. He credited the member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Matěj Gregor and spoke of a new milestone, as the party is entering municipal politics. Before the elections, the movement had said it would focus on Prague, Brno and Ostrava; in Prague, according to Macinka, there was no success, and in Brno probably none either.[1]

Macinka also said the party would analyse the results and must learn to work better with Prague voters. According to him, about 70 percent of the votes in Prague went to parties that define themselves against the government.[1] The movement fielded no candidate for the Senate of the Czech Republic, which Macinka explained by the short time in operation of the party, which entered the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic a year ago.[1][2]

Motoristé sobě won their first seat in the municipal elections in the municipality of Černouček, where President Petr Pavel votes.[1][2] In Prague in 2022, the movement, with a list led by Macinka, won 2.29 percent of the vote and did not enter the city assembly.[1]
