Naše Česko is an electoral movement under whose banner the incumbent mayor David Štojdl ran in the 2026 municipal elections in Trhové Sviny in the České Budějovice area. According to a newspaper, most of the candidates on the list were non-party members [1].

Formation of the candidate list

David Štojdl had previously led a candidate list in Trhové Sviny put together under ODS. For the 2026 elections he ran it under the name Naše Česko [1].

Election result

The Naše Česko list won over 68 percent of the vote and 18 of the 23 seats on the town council [1]. The remaining seats went to the ANO movement (two seats) and one seat each to KDU-ČSL, Nestraníci and Volba pro město [1]. David Štojdl described the result as “an excellent result, a real one-off, what we managed to pull off” [1]. He named work done over the past electoral term as the main reason for the success: “We busted our guts for four years, and it showed in Sviny. People saw that things were getting done,” he said [1]. He said the result was also helped by the fact that the campaign run by Naše Česko and three of the other five competing groups was conducted without mutual attacks [1].

Future plans

David Štojdl said that after the previous election he had formed a coalition which, in his view, bridged differences of opinion in the town, and that he expects to continue in a similar spirit [1]. On forming a coalition after the 2026 election he said: “We don't need to put together a coalition now. But we're in touch with ANO, Nestraníci and KDU-ČSL, we'll invite them to talks, but we won't be forming a coalition” [1]. At the same time he stressed that the result was not his achievement alone: “The fact that we won 18 seats is thanks to everyone on the list. The voters recognised everyone's work,” he said [1].
