In the Prague municipal elections, with roughly 15 percent of votes counted, the STAN movement narrowly led ahead of the Spolu pro Prahu coalition and the Praha sobě group.

In the count of votes in the municipal elections in Prague on 10 October 2026, with roughly 15 percent of votes counted the STAN movement narrowly led ahead of the Spolu pro Prahu coalition and the Praha sobě group. The count was slow and the result was expected only at night or in the morning.[1]
According to Novinky.cz, at one stage of the count Praha sobě had 16.9 percent of votes, ANO 15.3 percent and the Czech Pirate Party roughly 10 percent. SPD, running with the support of Trikolora, PRO and Přísaha, was getting 3.8 percent, the SEN pro Prahu 2.9 percent movement and Motoristé sobě 2.8 percent.[2] In 2022 the Spolu pro Prahu coalition won 24.7 percent, ANO 19.3 percent, the Czech Pirate Party 17.7 percent, Praha sobě 14.7 percent, STAN 7.8 percent and SPD 5.2 percent.[2]
STAN's candidate for mayor Petr Hlaváček said at a press conference that the movement wants to continue negotiating with Spolu, the Czech Pirate Party and Praha sobě, and, in his words, cannot imagine a coalition with ANO. He did not rule out that STAN would also take over transport.[1] The leader of Spolu, Tomáš Portlík (ODS), was sceptical about a coalition with ANO but did not rule it out, and said he wants a coalition that cannot be blackmailed by any party.[1] The Czech Pirate Party's candidate for mayor Tereza Nislerová did not rule out a coalition with Spolu; according to her, they differ on the approach to the housing crisis.[1] The chair of Praha sobě, Adam Scheinherr, named Spolu, STAN and the Czech Pirate Party as possible coalition partners.[1]
