Tereza Nislerová is an economist and a councillor for Prague 4. In January 2026 the Czech Pirate Party chose her as the top candidate on its list and as its candidate for Mayor of Prague in the municipal elections in October 2026.[1]
Campaign
Nislerová is one of the candidates invited by Czech Television to a debate on the post of mayor; she accepted the invitation along with eight other candidates.[2] At a debate held by Deník on 22 September 2026, she said that Prague is the fifth-richest city in the European Union and disagreed with the claim that it is not thriving. In her view, the main problem is the unavailability of housing.[3]
The Czech Pirate Party made a video against the conversion of flats into commercial accommodation, filmed in a flat rented out via Airbnb. Nislerová said they chose this format to draw attention to the scale of the problem of shared accommodation platforms in Prague, and that strict enforcement of the rules is, in her view, an important step toward solving the housing crisis.[4]
On the social network X, she published an election graphic depicting an imaginary bus in which she placed her political rivals and other well-known figures.[1]
