After the 2026 municipal elections, the coalition in the city district of Prague 4 will, as in the previous term, be formed by SPOLU pro PRAHU 4 (ODS and TOP 09) and ANO. The leaders of the two groupings, Ondřej Kubín (ODS) and Jan Hušbauer (ANO), signed a coalition agreement for the 2026 to 2030 term at the town hall on 19 October 2026. Kubín will remain mayor. The coalition has a majority of 24 votes in the 45-member assembly.[1][2]
Composition of the leadership
The council is to continue to have nine members, with five seats going to the SPOLU coalition and four to the ANO movement. ANO is to get the post of first deputy mayor, probably again Irena Michalcová with responsibility for education, and also the post of deputy mayor for investment, which Hušbauer will hold. Responsibilities are to change only slightly. Councillors will be elected by the assembly members at the inaugural meeting, planned for the beginning of November; the exact date has not been set.[1][2]
Kubín will keep finance, grants, security, sport, IT and digitalisation. Property, spatial development and transport are also to go to the SPOLU coalition.[1]
Priorities
Kubín named as a priority managing development around the Prague Metro line D stations under construction. He also wants to begin talks with Pražská developerská společnost on building a town hall in the street Na Strži, where both the city district and the company own land. The district office is housed in rented premises. Hušbauer named as ANO's priorities the modernisation of schools, the development of social and health care, and the management of public space, playgrounds and sports facilities.[1]
Election result
SPOLU won 33.7 percent of the votes and 17 seats, just ahead of the Společně pro změnu coalition (STAN, KDU-ČSL, the Greens, Praha 4 sobě) with 32.5 percent and 16 seats. ANO won seven seats and the Czech Pirate Party five. Turnout was 44.06 percent. Prague 4 has about 135,700 inhabitants.[1]
