Jan Hušbauer is deputy mayor of Prague 4 and the ANO movement’s candidate for mayor of Prague [1]. He heads the ANO list for the Prague city assembly, where he sits in opposition [2]. According to Echo24, he chairs the assembly’s audit committee [1].

Programme

In an interview with Echo24 he proposed introducing community service for those who make a mess in the streets, and tougher penalties, because fines alone, in his view, do not work [1]. He wants to examine whether shelters would actually serve residents in case of danger, to get prepared municipal housing projects onto construction sites within two years, and to push through a reform of parking zones that would allow parking all over the city during the day with one card [1]. He also talks about regulating Airbnb and distances himself from a possible post-election coalition of the Czech Pirate Party, Praha sobě and STAN [1].

He described security as one of the main priorities; in an interview with iDNES he said he would like to restrict the sale of alcohol in late-night shops after 10 p.m. [3]. He also advocates the creation of a coordinator of transport construction projects and a binding annual plan of road closures [3]. According to his own words, in the assembly he pushed through tasks for the city leadership aimed at a cleaner and safer public-transport environment [2].

Billboard in Kačerov

On 30 September 2026 Greenpeace pasted over an ANO election billboard featuring Hušbauer near Kačerov with a banner carrying a message against Motoristé sobě [4]. Hušbauer told the Czech News Agency that the action was not aimed at the government but at someone else’s billboard [4].
