PPF Real Estate is a company of the PPF group of Renáta Kellnerová, active in real estate. According to the Czech News Agency, PPF is a private international investment holding operating in 25 countries of Europe, North America and Asia, investing in telecommunications, media, financial services, real estate, e-commerce, industry, biotechnology and other sectors. It owns assets worth EUR 42.6 billion and employs about 37,000 people [1].
Purchase of projects near the O2 Arena
PPF Real Estate is buying from the Kaprain group of the businessman Karel Pražák a group of companies with real estate projects in preparation around the O2 Arena in Prague [1][2][3]. The subject of the deal is the following companies:
- Harfa BC C, linked to the planned construction of the Harfa SO16 project;
- Harfa District, linked to planned construction on the Howden ČKD brownfield site;
- Českomoravská Invest, linked to the planned Českomoravská office building near the metro station of the same name;
- Kovářská 939, which is preparing the Kovářská mixed-use building;
- C & R Office Center One, owner of the existing Harfa Business Center A office building;
- Mototech Real, owner of a 16-hectare site in Stodůlky [1].
The transaction is being assessed by the Úřad pro ochranu hospodářské soutěže (ÚOHS) in a simplified procedure, and the authority does not state the value of the deal [1][3].
