Kaprain is an investment group that the businessman Karel Pražák founded in 2013. According to the Czech News Agency, it focuses on six areas: industry, real estate, sport and entertainment, finance, retail and media. It employs almost 6,000 people and the value of its assets exceeds CZK 50 billion [1].
Sale of companies with real estate projects
The company PPF Real Estate of the PPF group of Renáta Kellnerová is buying from Kaprain a group of companies that own real estate projects in preparation around the O2 Arena in Prague. These are the companies Harfa BC C, Harfa District, Českomoravská Invest, Kovářská 939, C & R Office Center One and Mototech Real [1][2][3]. The transaction is being assessed by the Úřad pro ochranu hospodářské soutěže, which does not state the value of the deal [1][3]. Most of the companies being sold own land intended for development projects in Prague 9 around the O2 Arena, which PPF already owns; Mototech Real owns a 16-hectare site in Stodůlky [1][3].
