Tomáš Brzobohatý is a Czech investor and one of the founders of the investment group AKIPIA, which he created together with the businessman Michal Strnad and the investor Marek Šmrha [1]. According to the server e15, he previously worked as a lawyer for Petr Kellner [1].

The AKIPIA investment group

AKIPIA arose from the merger of three independent investors, Michal Strnad, Tomáš Brzobohatý and Marek Šmrha [1]. According to e15, Brzobohatý is a member of the group's board, as are Strnad and Šmrha, with Šmrha as the group's chief executive [1]. According to e15, the group was originally meant to be an investment office serving to diversify Michal Strnad's private portfolio, independent of his holding CSG, before it became a separate investment group [1].

Real estate projects

In August 2026 AKIPIA announced its entry into the development of the Prague district of Bubny-Zátory, where it acquired a 35 percent stake in cooperation with the company Penta Real Estate, while the remaining 15 percent was kept by the J&T group [3].

At the beginning of October 2026 AKIPIA concluded an agreement to enter as the main investor in the Roma Tower skyscraper project in Warsaw, whose value the investors put at up to 20 billion crowns [1][2][3]. According to the plans, the skyscraper is to reach a height of 170 metres and offer 357 apartments [1][2][3]. AKIPIA is taking part in the project together with the Polish developers Liebrecht & wooD and BBI Development and the foundation Pro Bonum Foundation [1][2][3]. According to e15, AKIPIA plans further investments in the near future worth at least a few billion crowns [1].
