Radko Sáblík is the director of the Smíchovská střední průmyslová škola a gymnázium and an ODS candidate in the Senate elections in Prague 5.

Radko Sáblík is the director of the Smíchovská střední průmyslová škola a gymnázium.[3]
In the 2026 Senate elections he ran for ODS in the Prague 5 district. According to Czech News Agency projections, he advanced to the second round, in which he will face the incumbent senator Václav Láska (SEN 21).[2] According to Novinky.cz, Láska won the first round and Sáblík finished narrowly behind him.[1] Sáblík said that the help of students is voluntary and that he does not force anyone to give it; he is also a councillor in Mníšek pod Brdy. [1] According to Hospodářské noviny, the campaign for ODS is organised by students of his school, and the situation there was examined by the Česká školní inspekce. [4] In the campaign, according to Hospodářské noviny, he focuses on reducing bureaucracy and on seniors, and also proposes the possibility of voting from the age of 16. [4] In the first round he won 27.1 percent of the votes and Láska 32.54 percent. [2] Zdeněk Šarapatka of TOP 09 won 19.75 percent of the votes and finished third. [2] Turnout in the district was 45.41 percent and seven candidates ran. [2]
According to Hospodářské noviny, he has been a member of ODS for twenty years and has served as a councillor in Mníšek pod Brdy since 2018. [4]
He helped the party with its programme for education and took part in Strategy 2030+, drawn up during the term of Education Minister Robert Plaga. [4]
