Miroslava Ferancová is the mayor of Olomouc and was the lead candidate of the ANO movement in the 2026 elections to the city council.[1][2]
2026 elections
ANO won in Olomouc, but had wanted to defend one to two more seats. Ferancová said she was disappointed by the low turnout and called the result bittersweet.[1][2] In her words, the movement ran the most intense campaign it had ever run.[2] After the elections, talks began on a coalition with several groupings; according to her they will last several days and will probably lead to a larger coalition. ANO has led the Olomouc city hall for eight years. Ferancová rates these years as successful, especially the last four, when, in her view, projects prepared earlier were successfully carried out.[1]
