Jiří Korec is the incumbent mayor of Zlín and lead candidate of the ANO movement. According to iDNES.cz, he took the head of Zlín city hall in 2018 as the youngest mayor in the city's history and in October 2026 led the ANO list for the third time.[1]
According to the daily Deník (Zlín Region edition), the ANO movement won the elections narrowly.[3] According to Novinky.cz, after the elections the movement is negotiating a coalition with the ODS and the Zlín 21 movement and wants to hold the post of mayor again.[2]
On 7 October 2026 he took part in an election debate of Czech Radio Zlín.[4]
