On 31 October 2026, a tactical exercise of the integrated rescue system units took place in Vratimov on the Ostravice river. It focused on the quick restoration of a transport link after a flood or another emergency. At the request of the Fire Rescue Service of the Moravian-Silesian Region, the Rescue Unit of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic built a temporary AM 70 EX bridge structure of four bridge spans across the river. The construction took two and a half hours, after which heavy vehicles drove over the bridge [1].

The exercise was meant to test above all how quickly firefighters, police officers and medical rescuers cooperate. The programme also included a demonstration of special vehicles, such as the Hägglunds tracked amphibious vehicle and the Argo amphibious vehicle [1].
