The Broumovský výběžek is an area in the northeast of Bohemia in the Hradec Králové Region. It separates the Giant Mountains and the Orlické Mountains from each other.[1] It is varied in both geology and relief, and according to the Czech Statistical Office it was once a flat basin between the two mountain ranges.[1]

Nature has created extensive rock towns here, including the Teplické skály and Adršpašské skály rocks, the Broumovské stěny cliffs, Křížový vrch and Ostaš. The area is one of the most abundant and highest-quality reservoirs of drinking water in Czechia.[1]

Almost the whole territory of the region belongs to the Elbe basin, and only a marginal part of the Broumovský výběžek lies in the Oder basin.[1] The Broumovsko Protected Landscape Area is located in Náchod District.[1]
