On the night of 24 September 2026, an unknown perpetrator broke into a shipping container used as a storage unit by a motorcycle driving school at the airfield in the cadastral area of Kadov, near the town of Blatná in the South Bohemian Region [1][2].

Stolen items and damage

The perpetrator stole a backpack of the HJC brand containing test helmets of the same brand, hand tools and private clothing [1][2]. The damage came to almost ninety thousand crowns [1][2].

Investigation

The case is being handled by police officers from Blatná, who are asking the public for cooperation [1][2]. Police spokeswoman Štěpánka Schwarzová said that the stolen helmets may turn up in offers on online marketplaces and social networks [1][2].
