Kadov is a municipality in Strakonice District near Blatná, in whose cadastral area an airfield is located.

Kadov is a municipality in the South Bohemian Region, in Strakonice District, located near the town of Blatná. An airfield lies in the cadastral area of the municipality.[1][2] Overnight on 24 September 2026, an unknown perpetrator broke into a shipping container serving as a motorcycle school storage at the airfield there and stole test motorcycle helmets, hand tools and clothing, causing damage of almost CZK 90,000. [1] Any information can be given on the line 158, at any station of the Police of the Czech Republic or directly at the local police station in Blatná. [1] Police officers in Blatná are asking the public for cooperation in the search for the stolen items and, according to police spokeswoman Štěpánka Schwarzová, the helmets may turn up in offers on online flea markets and social networks. [1] According to the police, an HJC backpack and test helmets of the same brand were stolen. [1]
