The PPF group announced in a press release on 21 October 2026 that it achieved a net profit of EUR 834 million in the first half of 2026, roughly CZK 20.3 billion. Year on year this is an increase of 157 percent.[1][2]

Operating revenues rose by 28 percent to EUR 2.35 billion, about CZK 57.1 billion. The group's assets fell year on year by 1.2 percent to EUR 42.1 billion, roughly CZK 1.02 trillion.[1][2]

According to PPF, the result reflected all pillars of the business: telecommunications, media, financial services, real estate and e-commerce. The Škoda Group also contributed positively with a record profit. EBITDA in telecommunications reached EUR 1.12 billion, against EUR 1 billion a year earlier, the net profit of financial services rose almost fivefold to EUR 301 million, and real estate reported a net profit of EUR 75 million, to which the sale of a stake in a hotel asset in London contributed.[1][2]

The report is the first since the group completed the move of its registered office from the Netherlands to Czechia on 1 April 2026. Kateřina Jirásková, who holds the shared post of chief executive officer, said the results confirmed the benefit of a diversified portfolio.[1][2]

Approval of the purchase of real estate companies from the Kaprain group

The Office for the Protection of Competition (Úřad pro ochranu hospodářské soutěže) allowed PPF Real Estate, part of the PPF group, to buy from the Kaprain group several companies with real estate projects in Prague, chiefly around the O2 Arena in Prague 9. It also allowed the purchase of the business of IK-invest 3, which owns the Oaks Prague golf course in Nebřenice in the Central Bohemian Region and a planned residential project of the same name. Both decisions of the office are final, and the office did not state the value of the transactions.[3]

The companies being sold include Harfa BC C, Harfa District, Českomoravská Invest, Kovářská 939, C & R Office Center One and Mototech Real. Most of them own land for development projects around the O2 Arena, which PPF already owns. Mototech Real owns a 16-hectare site in Stodůlky, and C & R Office Center One owns the Harfa Business Center A office building. The Oaks Prague residential project comprises apartment buildings and family houses on an area of 140 hectares next to the golf course; part of the buildings already stand.[3]
