Doornite, a maker of doors and door frames based in Jihlava, launched a public offering of shares on Monday, 5 October 2026, as part of its entry onto the Start market of the Prague Stock Exchange (BCPP). The company is accepting orders from investors until 19 October 2026, and has set a price range of 400 to 500 Czech korunas per share [1][2][3].

Terms of the offering

The Czech National Bank approved the prospectus for the public share offering on Friday, 2 October 2026 [1]. Doornite plans to issue up to 200,000 new shares, representing up to one fifth of its capital [1][2]. The offer price implies a valuation of the entire company, after the issue, of 400 to 500 million korunas [1]. The minimum order is ten shares, or one lot, which at the given price range amounts to 4,000 to 5,000 korunas [1]. The company expects the shares to be admitted to the Start market around 23 October 2026 [1]. The company's existing owners will not be selling their own shares in the offering, so all proceeds from the issue should go to the company [1].

Use of capital

Doornite announced its intention to go public at the beginning of September 2026 [1][2][3]. The company has stated that it wants to use the proceeds from the issue to modernize and automate production, strengthen working capital, develop subsidiary brands and sales channels, and potentially pursue acquisitions, although according to the prospectus it does not currently have any specific transaction agreed [1][2][3]. After going public, the company intends to pay out approximately 30 percent of the group's net profit as a dividend over the long term. The prospectus states: “However, the payment of a share of profit depends on a decision of the general meeting and is not guaranteed.” [1] Among the risks the company itself rates as high are its level of debt and sensitivity to interest rate developments [1].

Financial performance

Doornite reported revenue of 566 million korunas for 2025, up 13 percent year on year [2][3]. Operating profit (EBITDA) fell from 56.5 million to 51.9 million korunas, while net profit reached 16 million korunas, similar to the previous year [2][3]. On a pro forma basis, the company's revenue for the first half of 2026 amounted to 325.4 million korunas, compared with 277.9 million korunas in the same period of 2025, an increase of roughly 17 percent [1]. Pro forma EBITDA rose in the first half of 2026 from 22.3 million to 35.5 million korunas, an increase of nearly 60 percent, while the EBITDA margin rose from 8 percent to nearly 11 percent [1]. For the full year 2026, the company expects, on a pro forma basis, revenue of around 653 million korunas and EBITDA of approximately 61 million korunas, and by 2030 it aims to increase revenue to more than 943 million korunas and EBITDA to nearly 120 million korunas [1].

Comments from the exchange

Petr Koblic, CEO of the Prague Stock Exchange, said of the offering: “We are glad that another Czech company is using the capital market as one way to finance its further development.” He added that the Start market is meant to offer domestic growth companies a way to raise capital from investors and to build experience operating on a public market [2][3]. According to the sources, the Start market is intended for growing small and medium-sized Czech companies, under simplified conditions for admission to the exchange [2][3]. Doornite's manufacturing tradition dates back to 1957, and in 2021 it was taken over by Czech management [2][3].
