Under the coalition agreement signed for 2026–2030, the Most city hall will continue to be run by the existing coalition of the ProMost movement and ANO. They signed the agreement on 29 October 2026. Together they hold 30 seats on the 45-member city council, 22 for ProMost and eight for ANO. The ProMost leader Marek Hrvol remains mayor.[1][2][3]

Hrvol said the coalition builds on four years of cooperation in the previous term. Among its priorities he named completing large investments: the city wants to open the Repre cultural house in 2027, continue preparing the conversion of the former Prior department store, modernise the city library and rebuild the tram line on Budovatelů Avenue. It also wants to keep the existing benefits for residents, for example free public transport for selected groups, exemption of seniors over 65 from the municipal waste fee and financial support for newborn children for working parents.[1][2]

According to its Facebook post, ProMost also plans to develop Lake Most, modernise schools and sports facilities, pay more attention to safety and housing policy, and develop the housing estates. The ANO leader Jana Falterová Zudová said the movement wants to follow up on projects already under way and continue preparing further development plans.[1][2]

In the elections, the VIZE pro Most grouping also won 11 seats, the Czech Pirate Party, the Greens and Starostové two, and the joint list of SPD and Motoristé sobě two. The date of the inaugural council meeting is not yet known; according to Hrvol, the city is waiting for a court decision.[1][2]
