Sportfilm is an international film festival in Liberec. Its 29th edition announced the results on Saturday, 3 October 2026. The competition received 490 films from 94 countries, and the jury selected winning films in six categories. The festival's director is Renata Balašová.[1]

The main prize went to the film Heysel 85 by director Teodora Ana Mihai. In the Olympic Ideals category, the Polish documentary Noji. Przerwany bieg won. The best documentary was the Mexican film Hlasy z propasti. The Sports Personalities category was won by the Czech series Big Pete, in which Petr Čech interviews figures from world football. In the Feature Films and Series category, the winning film was Držíš mě nad vodou, in the Czech Scene category it was Neporazitelní by director Dan Pánek, and in the Society and Education category the winner was the Spanish short film Ptáci.[1]

The jury also awarded three honorable mentions: to the Czech documentary series Bohyně Slavie, the film Slum Bomber, and the documentary Touha po slávě. The special Věra Čáslavská Ray of Courage and Hope award went to the Mexican project Casa Hogar.[1]
