According to a poll by the NMS agency for Právo and Novinky.cz conducted on 26 and 27 October 2026, 37 percent of people rate the government of ANO, SPD and Motoristé sobě positively and 53 percent negatively.

The NMS agency carried out a poll for Právo and Novinky.cz on satisfaction with the coalition government of ANO, SPD and Motoristé sobě. The survey took place on 26 and 27 October 2026 and 1,002 respondents took part [1][2].

Results

Ten and a half months after its formation, 37 percent of people rate the performance of the cabinet of Andrej Babiš (ANO) positively, four percentage points fewer than in March. Negative ratings were given by 53 percent of respondents [1][2].

Among ANO voters, 82 percent rate the government positively and 14 percent negatively. According to the authors of the poll, dissatisfaction is higher among supporters of the coalition partners: among SPD voters it reaches 28 percent, among Motoristé sobě voters about two fifths. Among opposition sympathisers, the government has practically no support, according to the authors [1][2].

Comments

Political scientist Michal Malý of Charles University said that satisfaction of 65 percent among SPD voters and 53 percent among Motoristé sobě voters shows that a significant part of their voters dislike their parties' role in government. He recalled that Motoristé sobě had promised balanced budgets, oversight of Babiš or the abolition of the Green Deal, and said: “It has turned out that they live only off culture wars and will deliver nothing.” In the case of SPD, he said, it matters that the party does not deliver what it promised [1][2].

NMS analyst Tereza Friedrichová said that falling satisfaction concerns not only the other parties but also ANO voters. According to her, what most often lies behind it is dissatisfaction with the economic situation and a perceived decline in living standards [1][2].
