The NMS agency published on 2 November 2026 a survey for Právo and Novinky.cz on satisfaction with the ANO, SPD and Motoristé coalition government. Ten and a half months after its formation, 37 percent of people rate the work of the cabinet of Andrej Babiš (ANO) positively, which is four percentage points fewer than in March. A negative rating was given by 53 percent [1][2].
By party voters
Among ANO voters, 82 percent rate the government positively and 14 percent negatively. Dissatisfaction is higher among supporters of the coalition partners: among SPD voters it reaches 28 percent, among Motoristé voters about two fifths. Satisfaction among SPD sympathisers is 65 percent and among Motoristé sympathisers 53 percent. According to the authors of the survey, the government has practically no support among opposition supporters [1][3].
Comments
Political scientist Michal Malý of Charles University concludes from the figures that a significant part of SPD and Motoristé voters are not satisfied with their parties' role in government. He recalled that Motoristé had promised balanced budgets and the abolition of the Green Deal, and SPD an end to social benefits for Ukrainians. In his view, unfulfilled promises are what bothers people about SPD, Motoristé have moved away from their original programme, and Andrej Babiš claims the successes for himself [1][3].
NMS analyst Tereza Friedrichová said that falling satisfaction also affects ANO voters. Most often it is caused by dissatisfaction with the economic situation and a perceived fall in living standards [1][3].
Methodology
The survey was carried out on 26 and 27 October 2026, and 1,002 respondents took part [1][2][3].
