On the night of 4 October 2026, about a thousand tuned vehicles gathered in and around Brno for an unannounced event that the police monitored and at which they imposed fines of more than 200 thousand crowns.

An illegal meet of tuned cars took place on the night of 3 to 4 October 2026 in and around Brno, where, according to the police, roughly a thousand vehicles gathered. David Chaloupka, spokesperson of the South Moravian police, said that the event was secured without more serious incidents or extraordinary events.[1][2]
Course of events
Participants first gathered at the Olympia shopping centre in Modřice near Brno, and some of them then moved to Globus in Brno-Ivanovice.[1] Some drivers made a trip to Olomouc and back, and after midnight the main stream of vehicles headed for the Masaryk Circuit in Brno.[1] Chaloupka said that the police monitored all the movements and adjusted the deployment of patrols accordingly, to ensure traffic safety and limit the impact on other drivers.[1]
Checks and penalties
Police officers in and around Brno checked roughly 700 vehicles and their crews, found more than a hundred offences, and the fines imposed exceeded 200 thousand crowns, mainly for the poor technical condition of cars and violations of road traffic rules.[1][3]
According to Chaloupka, among the most serious cases was the behaviour of two drivers who raced each other in regular traffic. The police stopped both and secured their vehicles.[1] In the car park at Olympia, the police also seized a drone from a person who was operating it without registration in a place where this is prohibited, and passed the case on to administrative proceedings.[1]
Olomouc, Prague and Central Bohemia
Some of the participants moved on Saturday evening to Olomouc, to the OC City. The police checked 124 vehicles there and dealt with six offences, with fines totalling 16,700 crowns.[1][3] A foreigner who drifted at one of the roundabouts was, according to the police's statement on the network X, given the maximum fine of 10 thousand crowns.[1][3]
On the night of Saturday, participants of a similar event also moved around Prague, where the police recorded 176 offences and imposed fines of 271,900 crowns, and detained one driver. In Central Bohemia, the police recorded more than 80 offences and withheld 12 vehicle registration certificates and one driving licence.[1][3]
