Hynek Chudárek is the Director General of Czech Television.

Hynek Chudárek is the Director General of Czech Television. On 21 October 2026 he said that, to keep the current scope of its public service, the broadcaster would need a budget in 2027 of at least this year's CZK 8.5 billion.[1]
According to Chudárek, the management of Czech Television has begun an optimisation and transformation in which it wants to keep all six channels, including i-vysílání and the digital services. The savings measures, among them a reduction in the number of jobs, are, he said, based on long-term plans and are unrelated to a possible cut in funding. The budget for next year assumes revenue from television licence fees of CZK 7 billion; this year the broadcaster expects CZK 6.7 billion.[1]
The government's bill on the funding of public service media provides for a contribution from the state budget of CZK 5.7 billion. Chudárek said this would have a direct impact above all on the scope of services, and announced that, in any proceedings in the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and its committees, the broadcaster would seek amendments to the bill.[1]
