After the municipal elections in October 2026, the winning list Kohoutovice, jak je chceme and the candidate list Společně pro Kohoutovice formed the leadership of the Brno district of Kohoutovice. The coalition has 12 members in the 21-member council.[2] The list Kohoutovice, jak je chceme won the elections with just under 36.3 percent of the vote and nine seats; Společně pro Kohoutovice (ODS, TOP 09 and independents) received 13.87 percent of the vote and three seats.[1][2]

She is to replace the current mayor Jakub Hruška (KDU-ČSL), who, according to reports of 28 October 2026, is to become mayor of Brno at the beginning of November.[2] The deputy mayors are to be Ondřej Valeš for Kohoutovice, jak je chceme and Michal Velička (ODS).[1][2]

Councillors elected for the lists Petr Šafařík za lepší Kohoutovice (six seats), the ANO movement (two seats) and SPD supported by PRO and independents (one seat) will go into opposition.[1][2]

Sychrová said that the coalition wants to build on the cooperation so far and to continue the repairs of apartment buildings and the projects awaiting building permits. Among its plans she also mentioned extending buffet-style catering from the primary school on Chalabalova Street to the school on Pavlovská Street and the restoration of the Grand Prix observation café at the old Masaryk Circuit.[1][2]
