On 1 October 2026 she took part in the ceremonial opening of the 16th edition of Reading to Children Week at the Divadlo loutek Ostrava puppet theatre, which also marked 20 years of the non-profit organisation Celé Česko čte dětem. She appeared together with her mother and the writer Alena Mornštajnová; the evening was hosted by actor Petr Vančura and was devoted to children thanking their parents.[1][2] As a thank-you to her mother, she prepared a performance by the Gorol band Lipka. [2] President Petr Pavel took patronage of the edition.[1]
In an interview with journalists, Farna said she considers reading to children important, especially at a time when the use of mobile phones is a major topic.[3] According to Farna, both Polish and Czech books are read to her children at home. [3]
