Arnika is an environmental association that compiles annual rankings of the largest environmental polluters in Czechia. It has done so since 2005 and draws on data from the Integrated Pollution Register.[1] For 2025, 1,233 facilities reported data to the register.[1]

According to representatives of the association, facilities from the Ústí nad Labem Region appeared most often in the rankings for 2025, followed by the Moravian-Silesian Region and the Pardubice Region. Compared with the previous year, the reported amounts of perfluorinated substances, formaldehyde and greenhouse gases rose.[1] The largest source of greenhouse gases was the Počerady power plant with 4.2 million tonnes, the largest amount of formaldehyde, about seven tonnes, was reported by Kronospan CR in Jihlava, and the mercury ranking was led by Synthesia in Pardubice with 532 kilograms.[1] Nikola Jelínek of Arnika said of the 44 kilograms of PFAS reported by the Pardubice-Rybitví wastewater treatment plant that this is an alarming amount of substances that practically do not break down in nature.[1]
