
An ultralight aircraft crashed in Havlíčkův Brod, in the Poděbaby district, on 4 October 2026 shortly before 4 p.m. It came down on a golf course roughly two hundred metres from the airfield's landing strip.[1][2] According to police spokeswoman Dana Čírtková, the pilot wanted to land at the airfield but the landing failed, and the cause is not yet known.[1][2]
The pilot's condition
Paramedics took charge of the pilot. Petr Janáček, spokesman for the regional ambulance service, said the pilot escaped the accident with no visible injury and was taken to the hospital in Havlíčkův Brod for further examination and observation.[1][2]
Investigation
According to the police, an employee of the Ústav pro odborné zjišťování příčin leteckých nehod was to travel to the scene of the accident.[1][2]
