Senator and Prague councillor Hana Kordová Marvanová testified as a witness at a court hearing in the Dozimetr case on 5 October 2026. She said she had perceived some contracts of the Prague Public Transit Company as non-transparent and disadvantageous for the capital. [1][2]

Content of the testimony

As an example she cited the Nové Holešovice project. According to her, the transit company did not have a large enough share in it to be able to control it, yet it contributed valuable land. She said she felt pressure to push the project through despite reservations; the conditions were later adjusted, but in her view insufficiently. [1]

According to her testimony, she felt harassment, bossing and pressure from Petr Hlubuček, then deputy mayor, and from Stanislav Polčák to vote in the Prague council as they wished. Her relationship with Hlubuček was good at first, she said, and later worsened over disputes about several contracts, for example for external legal services. In relation to both she also used the word mafia and said she had been afraid of them. She does not know the other defendants in the case. [1][2]

Court proceedings

Six defendants stand trial. The indictment charges them, among other things, with taking part in an organised criminal group, accepting a bribe, bribery and money laundering; the legal classification is not the same for all of them. According to prosecutor Adam Borgula, the group influenced tenders through managers it had installed at the transit company and took bribes for it. Petr Hlubuček has denied guilt from the start. [1]

The court scheduled Marvanová's testimony for Monday and Tuesday and wanted to hear further witnesses in the same week. Presiding judge Jakub Kriebel said the main trial would not end before the end of 2026. [1]
