SATPO is a real estate and development group based in Prague.[1][2] In 2026, together with the investment group WOOD & Company, it bought the Písnice housing estate from CIB Group, which ran it as rental housing. The new owners also took over the revitalisation project, which includes new construction.[1][2] The council of the Praha-Libuš city district decided that a local referendum on consent to the form of the Písnice revitalisation, under a zoning decision that is not yet final, would be held together with the municipal elections on 9 and 10 October 2026. [1]

According to Pražský patriot and Pražský deník, the owners plan to repair the existing flats and then sell them, which tenants fear.[1][2] The association Naše Písnice protests against the project; in its view, instead of modernising the existing panel blocks, it concentrates on building new houses, mainly around the planned Line D metro station. [1]

The Libuš councillors also approved that the city district will seek a public meeting between representatives of the new owners and residents, and set up a working group for it. [1]
