Pivovary Staropramen is a brewing company with a brewery in the Smíchov district of Prague. It belongs to the North American brewing group Molson Coors. On the Czech beer market it has long held second place behind Plzeňský Prazdroj.
The company also includes the Ostravar brewery in Ostrava, founded in 1897, which is among the ten largest breweries in Czechia. Most of its output is consumed in the Ostrava, Karviná, Opava and Nový Jičín areas. On 8 October 2026 the company announced that Ostravar is to end production gradually in 2027 and that its key brands are to be brewed in Smíchov. It named long-term market developments, falling beer consumption and rising production and operating costs as the reasons.
The company's spokesperson is Kateřina Pavlíková, and the manager for Czechia and Slovakia is Martin Čermák.
