Obec architektů is a Czech professional organisation of architects. It represents the Czech Republic, among others, in the International Union of Architects (UIA), which links professional architects' organisations around the world.[1]

The chairman of Obec architektů is Oleg Haman. The organisation is involved in preparing the Prague programme for the World Capital of Architecture title and for the UIA World Congress of Architects as a professional partner of Prague City Hall. The four-year period is to culminate in the UIA World Congress of Architects in 2032, held together with the general assembly of this organisation. The programme is also to address affordable housing, transport, public space and the protection of cultural heritage. [1] The successful bid of the capital for this title for the years 2029 to 2032 was presented at a press conference in the Rezidence primátora in Prague on 23 October 2026.[1] The World Capital of Architecture title is awarded by UNESCO and the International Union of Architects, and Prague will hold it from 2029 to 2032.
