New catering equipment worth more than 12 million crowns excluding VAT is to be installed in May 2027. The supplier will store some of the recently purchased appliances, reinstall them after the work is finished, train the staff and provide a three-year warranty service.[1][2]

During the reconstruction, lunches for pupils will be prepared by the school canteen next to the Střední škola profesní přípravy in 17. listopadu Street. A temporary serving area will be set up in one of the school's wings. Mayor Pavlína Springerová said the modernisation is meant to ensure a good and functional environment for school catering. The school is designed for 600 pupils and its grounds were built in the 1970s.[1][2]
