Lukáš Vlček is the first deputy chairman of the STAN movement. On 11 October 2026 he expressed the expectation that, before the next elections to the Chamber of Deputies, the movement could appeal to voters who had expected lower mortgage rates and lower energy prices from ANO 2011. According to him, the movement's goal is to have the next prime minister.[1] According to Vlček, the movement does not want to compete in opposition with ODS and the Czech Pirate Party for voters, but is aiming at a broader range of voters. STAN won the 2026 municipal elections and the first round of the Senate elections.[1] In Prague, STAN won the city assembly election with 17 councillors, as did the second grouping, SPOLU pro Prahu. [1] Vlček said that the movement's goal is to carry mayoral themes over to the national level, that is, to build motorways and power plants while also striving for a balanced budget. [1] Together with Karel Havlíček (ANO 2011), Vlček took part in the Sunday programme Partie on the television channel Prima on 11 October 2026.[2]
