Lukáš Rittstein is a sculptor.[2] According to Pražský patriot, he has collaborated with Barbora Šlapetová for thirty years, and since their first journeys to New Guinea the two have devoted themselves to recording encounters with people from different cultural environments.[1]

How to Touch the Sky (Jak se dotknout nebe)

Rittstein's contribution to the project is the sculpture group Runway, called Runway to the Temple in Prague. It is 120 metres long, consists of sculptural gates and sphinxes, and leads towards the object Turbotemple, the film sanctuary whose interior is formed by a film by Barbora Šlapetová.[1][2] The project was presented at the Biennale Arte in Venice in 2026; from 5 to 18 October 2026 it is freely accessible on the piazzetta in front of the Industrial Palace at Výstaviště Praha.[1][2] At the opening of the exhibition on 5 October 2026, Rittstein reportedly invited people, according to Pražský deník, to an evening celebration of what would have been Václav Havel's ninetieth birthday.[2]
