Coalition agreement

On 13 October 2026, a new coalition of the groupings Pro město, Mělničané and MLK agreed in Mělník on the posts in the town leadership. Under the agreement, Ctirad Mikeš is to become mayor again, and the deputy mayors are to be Jindřich Špergl and Petr Volf [1]. The coalition partners announced that they want to sign the agreement by the end of that week [1]. According to Ctirad Mikeš, the new coalition's programme priorities include intensifying the wastewater treatment plant and starting steps towards the revitalisation of náměstí Karla IV., including the demolition of the Hold building. Under the agreement, the new town council is to have seven members. Besides the mayor and the two deputy mayors, Tomáš Vojta, Barbora Kettnerová, Michal Franěk and Jiří Rejman are to be proposed for it at the inaugural meeting of the town assembly [1].
