Jakub Voráček is a Czech ice hockey player. According to the Czech News Agency, he supports the Voráček foundation, which helps people with multiple sclerosis.[1]

Foundation

Together with the ice hockey player David Pastrňák, he donates money to the foundation for every point in the NHL points standings.[1] Voráček added that, in his words, it might be possible in the near future to build a centre as well.[1]

Award

Voráček and Pastrňák received a joint silver commemorative medal of the President of the Senate on 28 September 2026, as reported by the Czech News Agency, mainly for their work for the foundation.[1] The citation for the medal read “for goals and assists that help”. [3] Voráček collected the medal in person, and Pastrňák was represented by his agent.[1] Czech Television reported that the medal is due to them in large part for their charitable activity supporting patients with multiple sclerosis.[2]
