Drahomyšl is a municipality in the Louny area of the Ústí nad Labem Region[1][2].

Hostel

The municipality has a hostel, which has been home since autumn 2025 to people with social problems[2][3]. Local residents complained about their behaviour[1][2]. According to accounts given at the Regional Court in Ústí nad Labem, long-time residents described the building as a "house of horrors" and said they were afraid to let their children go to the nearby playground[1].

After an incident in early March 2026, some families moved out of the hostel, and the last tenants left in mid-August 2026[2][3]. In September 2026 the municipal council decided to buy the building from its private owners for CZK 7.6 million[1][2][3]. According to information from the municipality, affordable housing for seniors and young families is to be created in the building after a complete reconstruction[1].
