The D11 motorway is a road passing through the Nymburk area in the direction of Hradec Králové. At its 35.5th kilometre there is a petrol station with an advertising sign in front of it.[1][3]*
Fatal accident in September 2026
Shortly before two o'clock in the morning on 28 September 2026 a driver travelling alone in a vehicle crashed on this section of the motorway.[1] While exiting towards the petrol station he hit its sign.[1][2][3] Resuscitation was carried out at the scene, which according to the spokeswoman Suchánková was unsuccessful, and the driver died.[1][3]
The accident did not restrict traffic on the D11 motorway.[1][3]
