The Central Military Hospital (ÚVN) is a hospital in Střešovice run by the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic. It cares for senior constitutional officials and war veterans.[1][2]
Police actions in 2026
In 2026 the hospital appeared in police cases. In May the police acted at the hospital in connection with the alleged falsification of medical assessments, and in September 2026 they examined the awarding of contracts; in the second operation they detained, in order to give explanations, three former and current deputy directors of the hospital. They have not yet started criminal prosecution in that matter.[1][2]
