Arvum is an investment company of the PPF group. The Czech National Bank granted it a licence, and the group announced this on 6 October 2026. The company is to prepare investment funds for clients of Air Bank and PPF banka.[1][2]
Investment strategy and the management of the funds' portfolios are provided by portfolio managers Michal Semotan, chairman of the company's board, and Patrik Hudec, a board member. PPF reported on the building of the investment company in August 2026.[1][2]
According to PPF, the licence is a necessary precondition for approving individual funds and launching them on the market. The funds are to be introduced gradually, and the company intends to report on the specific offering in the coming months. According to regulatory notices cited by E15, it is authorised to manage funds for both retail and qualified investors.[1][2]
According to Jana Brodani, executive director of the Capital Market Association AKAT ČR, PPF may have an advantage in being able to offer investments directly in the Air Bank and PPF banka apps.[2]
