The council approved an addiction services programme. The money is to support the availability and growth of the service network for people at risk of addictive behaviour. How the sum is split between providers the announcement does not say.

The city wants to widen the network of places where residents can drop off municipal waste free of charge. Neither an opening date nor a cost is given.

The Nový Opatov project covers development of an area of 71,357 m2 on the western side of Chilská street, from the Opatov metro station towards Starý Chodov. The site is to have five office and retail buildings by the metro and four apartment blocks closer to the existing housing. No building is to exceed 40 metres in height. The investors are Starochodovská a.s., SHELIA s. r. o. and FINEP CZ a. s., and the designer is Studio acht. The office gives no construction date.

The Prague 3 building office has issued a decision on a change to the Rezidence Parková čtvrť scheme, the redevelopment of the former Žižkov freight station. It is posted on the official notice board from 28 August to 14 September. This is the same part of Žižkov where the transport company is now building the tram connection.

From 1 September to 15 December the old road bridge is demolished and a new one built. The street is fully closed throughout.

Around 17 thousand packs for first-graders go to 223 Prague school facilities and the city is paying 2,389,800 koruna excluding VAT. Divided out, that is roughly 141 koruna per pack. What is inside them the announcement does not say.

The new primary school will stand on U Hostavického potoka street; besides classrooms it will have a canteen, a gym and outdoor grounds, and is due to open in two years. The city speaks of construction having begun. The Prague 14 district's own statement is more precise: there was a ceremonial start, and groundworks begin in autumn. A temporary school in Travná will bridge the gap.

The district assembly split 371,250 koruna between six organisations for the second quarter. In that period 53 residents of Prague 10 used the care, which works out at roughly 7,005 koruna per patient. The money goes to Zdravotní ústav Most k domovu, Křižovnický domácí hospic, TŘI, Cesta domů, soft palm and Hospic Štrasburk.

The programme will hand out more than five million koruna in total, at most one million per project, and the grant covers at most 70 % of eligible costs. Applications are open; the announcement gives no closing date.

The mental health centre for seniors opened this spring in Prague 5 and is the first service of its kind in the city: free help for people with dementia and their families, so far for 45 clients. The second announcement is a pavilion for 73 clients with Alzheimer's disease. The city announced both together; the scale behind them comes from the Prague 5 town hall. More than 62 thousand people over eighty live in the capital.
